Lights -If your safe does not have interior lights you don't know what you are missing. With interior lighting there is no need to look for a flashlight. You will be able to easily find what you are looking for. Amazon offers a good selection of lights for gunsafe.

Dehumidifier -High humidity inside your gunsafe can cause irreversible damage. A safe inside your home that has a HVAC system usually will not have high humidity (unless you put something wet inside). However a safe located in an area that does not have HVAC can potentially have a high level of humidity. If your safe has a high level of humidity and your contents get cold the moisture from the air will condense on them. Which can cause guns to get rusty.
Door Storage - I wouldn't add door storage if you don't currently have it. Usually your shelves fit close to the door and if you put a door storage kit on the door back there wouldn't be much room and you might not be able to close the safe.
Monitors -There are alot of different types of monitors. They may monitor: temperature, humidity, or security.
Gun hangers -If you have a Large collection of pistols. Gun hangers can be very useful to keep them organized and protected from banging against each other.
