that offer good fire and burglary protection. These safes are not suggested for high value cash
storage, however they should offer enough protection for the average home owner. The Fire
Buster safes are pre-drilled in the bottom so that they may be bolted down. Bolting down gives
added protection from having the safe carried off. When a safe is bolted down in a downstairs
location the bolt hole should not effect fire protection.
The American Security safes have wheels and therefore do not have bolt down holes may be
preferred in upstairs locations where a safe may fall through the floor during a home fire. The
wheels are removable.
Usually these safes are placed "out of sight" in closets.
